BFS CRICKET TOURNAMENT 25 & STEP CHALLENGE 25

Be Friends Switzerland has successfully conducted  their first-ever Cricket Indoor Tournament on 12th April 2025 at Zurich.

We are so delighted to express our sincere joy and happiness towards the happy end of the Cricket tournament and Be Friends Step Challange. Thank you for your huge contribution to the success of our Cricket Tournament.

On behalf of Executive Committee and tournament/Step Challange Committee we would like to congratulate all the winners and also thanks to all those who participated in this sports Gala 25. This year, the participation of non-Malayalees  teams in the competition is worth mentioning.  

Mr. Antance Vezheparambil, Sports Convener, has done a wonderful job with the full support of Mr.Akhil Palatty and support of  co-ordinators of this Cricket Tournament. The Executive Committee as also showed tremendous enthusiasm and determination for the success of this Sports Gala 25. 

Sixteen teams from various parts of Switzerland participated in the first cricket tournament organized by B Friends to create a sporting atmosphere among Swiss Malayalees with the approval of the Swiss Cricket Association.

Best Batsman & MVP – Sreekanth Sreenivasan (Zurich Mavericks Adliswil)

Best Bowler – Malyar Stanzikai (Basel Afghans)

Best Fielder – Sundar Krishnadevan (Keravar)

BE FRIENDS STEP CHALLENGE 2025

Emphasizing the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, the Fitness Step Challenge, which was launched by B Friends last year, is being revamped with new ideas. The winners of the 21-day Step Challenge, which involved more than 100 participants and 9,000 steps, were announced on April 12.

Mr.Ratheesh Ramanathan and Manzoor Schkeena,the coordinators of the event, they both did a great job!!! Could not complete this challenge without their support and their motivation. thanks to both of you…
