The Be Friends Kerala Dress Awards, one of the most anticipated highlights of the Be Friends Onamaholsavam, will be presented this year in an exciting new format with several enhancements. This celebrates the elegance, beauty, and rich cultural heritage of Kerala’s traditional attire while providing a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Guidelines

  • Participants are encouraged to wear authentic traditional Kerala attire.
  • Outfits should be neat, elegant, and reflect the rich cultural heritage of Kerala.
  • Judging will be based on authenticity, traditional styling, overall appearance, and presentation—not on the cost or brand of the attire.
  • Simple, graceful, and traditional styling is encouraged over excessive glamour.
  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Best Dressed Man (25 years & above)

Best Dressed Yuva Kerala Prince (15-24 years)

Best Dressed Yuva Kerala Princess (15-24 years)

Best Dressed Young Couple(Below 35 Years)

Best Dressed Senior Couple(Above 35 Years)

Judging Criteria

The judges will evaluate participants based on the following criteria:

  • Authenticity of traditional Kerala attire
  • Traditional styling and draping
  • Overall appearance and grooming
  • Coordination of attire, accessories, and presentation
  • Confidence, grace, and cultural representation

How can participate? Registration & Judging Process

Participants are requested to register their **name** and **award category** with the judges at the designated registration desk at the Onam festival venue.

Participating time bitween12.00 noon to 14.30 PM

A professional photographer will take an official photograph of each participant. The judging panel will assess same time the participants and record their scores during the registration process.

The winners will be selected based on the total marks awarded by the judges and will be announced during the Onam festival programme. We encourage everyone to participate and celebrate the beauty and elegance of Kerala’s traditional attire.
